Lot # 192: 1910 E90-3 American Caramel Chick Gandil SGC GOOD 30

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. Pleasing example of infamous "Black Sox" member Chick Gandil from the E90-3 American Caramel set. The E90-3 set is actually even rarer than the E90-1 series (except for the short-print rarities in the E90-1 set) or the E90-2 Pittsburgh series cards. E90-3 is truly a set unto itself, slightly different in design from the other American Caramel cards and featuring only Chicago Cubs and White Sox players. This E90-3 Gandi displays a bright blue background, a crisp image, rounded corners, and centering toward the left. Boldly printed reverse. Scattered soiling contributes to the assigned grade. This is an attractive example of this early and important Chick Gandil caramel card.
