Original photo of the 1870 Dartmouth College baseball team. Each of the nine players is shown wearing a bib-front jersey featuring a "D" on the front. Two of the players are posing with bats while one is holding a ball. The photo is mounted on a thick page stock. The photo (9 x 7 inches) exhibits exceptional clarity and is in Excellent condition. The mount (14 x 11 inches) displays the notation "[18]69/1870" written in pencil on the back. Excellent condition.
