Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Appealing example of this Babe Ruth classic. The 1948-1949 Leaf Bubble Gum card of Ruth is one of the most popular and striking of all his cards. It is on virtually every short list of the most classic and recognizable of all postwar baseball cards. This well-centered card has vibrant colors and moderate corner wear. Of note, it might appear that the text has "bled through" from the back to the front, but what has really happened with this card is that when it was printed, the sheets were stacked on top of one another while still wet, in this case causing a transfer of ink from the reverse (text) of another sheet to the obverse of the offered card. We rarely see this type of printing imperfection so prominent.
