Graded VG 3 by SGC (submitted by REA). Rarely offered 1909 Topping & Co. Detroit Tigers Postcard of Hall of Famer Sam Crawford. The set includes players from the 1909 American League Champion Detroit Tigers. The fronts feature black-and-white player portraits in the center of a yellow six-point star. This is one of the most striking and visually exciting of all Crawford cards. The card presents as Excellent, with a flawless, crisp image and light touches of wear at the corners. The reverse has never been written on or mailed. The card is harshly downgraded due to light toning on the reverse from album storage. A very attractive example of this rare Sam Crawford card that would be a worthy addition and highlight in any Hall of Fame or classic postcard collection.
