Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC (submitted by REA). Rarely offered 1909 Topping & Co. Detroit Tigers Postcard of Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings. The set includes players from the 1909 American League Champion Detroit Tigers. The fronts feature black-and-white player portraits in the center of a yellow six-point star. This is one of the most striking and visually exciting of all Jennings cards. The card presents as Excellent, with a flawless, crisp image and light touches of wear at the corners. The reverse has never been written on or mailed. The card is harshly downgraded due to a small touch of paper loss on the front and light toning on the reverse from album storage. A very attractive example of this rare Hughie Jennings card that would be a worthy addition and highlight in any Hall of Fame or classic postcard collection.
