Presented is a very attractive and mostly high-grade complete 44-card set of 1967 Topps "Who Am I?" This set is one of the most unusual and interesting sets ever produced by Topps. The set features many important figures in world history, including presidents, inventors, and athletes, each with a scratch-off disguise and clues to help kids identify the famous person. The back of each issued card has additional clues and instructions to "Scratch off disguise on front to discover Who I Am. Use a coin or fingernail." To sports collectors, this set is highlighted by four Hall of Fame baseball players: Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and Sandy Koufax, but most of the set is composed of very important historical figures including Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein. The scratch-off disguise is intact on all, with minor defects visible on a few. Condition is 45% Nr/Mt or better, 45% Ex to Ex-Mt (including some due solely to centering), and 10% lesser (mostly due to print defects). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by PSA. Keys: #12 Ruth (EX-MT 6), 22 Mantle (VG 3), 33 Mays (EX-MT 6), and 41 Koufax (EX-MT 6). The set is accompanied by a wrapper with slightly more than normal packaging wrinkles and folds but which is still in overall Very Good condition. This is a superb complete set of this popular 1960s Topps sport and nonsport issue, with several highlights. Total: 44 cards.
