Presented is an extremely rare original unopened cello pack from the 1951 Topps Red Backs set featuring eight two-card panels, for a total of 16 cards. Card numbers 9 Roy Sievers and 41 Whitey Lockman are showing on top. Even more amazing, an example of Mickey Cochrane's 1951 Connie Mack's All Stars card is showing on the back. The 1951 Red Backs set includes the following eight Hall of Famers: Berra, Rizzuto, Wynn, Kiner, Feller, Spahn, Snider, and Irvin. This is only the second example of this 1951 Topps cello pack that we have ever offered! It is an incredibly rare, substantial, and historically significant unopened cello pack in extraordinary condition, looking as it did when it appeared on a candy-store rack in 1951, direct from the earliest days of Topps and the "golden era" of baseball cards. The pack comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material).
