Graded EX 60 by SGC. Beautiful mid-grade example of key Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. The card displays vibrant colors, a crisp image, light corner wear, and centering toward the right. Boldly printed reverse. The card is free of any distracting caramel staining. Though a few scattered stains can be spotted on the back, it is far less than is normally encountered on #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts because the 1914 series cards were issued only in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is a tremendous 1914 Cracker Jack #66 Nap Lajoie example, worthy of any high-quality 1914 Cracker Jack set or prewar-card collection.
