Graded VG+ 3.5 by SGC. A very attractive mid-grade example of key Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie (Cleveland Americans) from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. Bright and crisp, with vibrant colors, centering slightly to the left, and light corner wear. The card is free of any distracting caramel staining and has just a few scattered spots, far less than is normally encountered on #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were issued only in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is an extremely attractive example of one of the key Hall of Famers from this classic set.
