Description

This is a very presentable example of #93 Del Pratt (St. Louis Browns) from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. Pratt has long been considered one of the most difficult cards in the set, and the population reports support this fact. To date, out of 3,484 cards from the 1914 Cracker Jack set evaluated by SGC, only 13 examples of Pratt have ever been graded. Bright and crisp, with a bold red background, the card is centered to the right with even wear to the corners. The front and back both display moderate staining. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is a visually appealing example from this classic set that would make an outstanding addition to any 1914 Cracker Jack set or prewar-card collection.
