Description

Graded EX 5 by SGC. Fantastic example of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. The offered card has a striking red background, crisp image, and strong corners with light touches of wear. Displaying only a couple light traces of caramel staining, far less than is normally encountered on 1914 #144 series Cracker Jack cards. 1914 Cracker Jacks are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. It is rare to find any #144 series Cracker Jack in high grade, let alone such a beautiful example of Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings.
