Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by PSA with none higher! Superb mid-grade example of legendary Hall of Fame pitcher Cy Young, with a rarely-seen “no offer” checklist-back variation. The T3 Turkey Red is considered by many to be one of Cy Young's most important and majestic cards. This example has extremely bold and vibrant colors, flawless registration, and even wear on the corners. Downgraded due to a crease in the lower left. The fairly clean reverse of this card features a checklist of cards #1-76, but is missing the text below the checklist, which outlines the redemption offer in which coupons from Turkey Red, Old Mill, or Fez Cigarettes products could be exchanged by mail for one of the cards. These checklist (no offer) cards are particularly scarce. Turkey Reds are considered by many to be the most beautiful and well-made tobacco set ever issued.
