Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC (submitted by REA). Extremely rare caramel card of #28 Walter Johnson from the 1927 E126 American Caramel set. This set is of special note as it was produced in the final year that the American Caramel Company issued cards. Significantly fewer examples from the E126 set are offered compared to the earlier sets produced by American Caramel. The offered example is extremely crisp and clean, with a bold image and modest wear to the four corners. Clean reverse, with a boldly printed promotional offer and advertisement. This is an attractive mid-grade example of this rare Walter Johnson caramel-card dating from 1927. Awarded an MBA Gold Diamond by Mike Baker Authenticated for high-end eye appeal.
