Program from a September 6, 1961, game between the New York Yankees and Washington Senators at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees defeated the Senators 8-0 behind Roger Maris' 54th home run of the season. Maris would finish the campaign with 61 home runs, breaking Babe Ruth's single-season record. The program (5.75 x 9.25 inches), which is neatly scored in blue ink, is in Very Good condition overall.
