Offered is a rare and very interesting collection of 11 photographs featuring members of the New York Yankees, all but one (Mantle) used in the production of the 1963 Post Cereal and Jell-O baseball cards. These photos were used as components of the art boards that were created during the production process. Each color-photo measures approximately 4 x 4.75 inches and has the player's name and team affiliation written on the reverse (except Mantle, which is noted on the front). This collection consists of the following players: Berra, Blanchard, Boyer, E. Howard, Mantle (please note this image is not the same as used on his final card), Maris, Richardson, Skowron, Stafford, Terry, and Tresh. The photos remain in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. This is an outstanding and unique collection that offers great insight into the production process for Post Cereal and Jell-O cards. It would be a significant addition to any original card artwork or card-production collection. Total: 11 photos.
