Description

Graded NM-MT+ 7.5 by PSA. Outstanding high-grade example of this classic rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Warren Spahn. Spahn went on to win 363 games, but when this card was issued in 1948 he was at the very beginning of a spectacular career that would eventually include thirteen 20-game-winning seasons and last well into the mid-1960s. This well-centered card has a beautiful orange background, a crisp image, and strong corners. The reverse is clean and free of all staining and excess print. This is an extremely attractive high-grade Warren Spahn rookie card. Many consider this Warren Spahn's single most desirable baseball card. A classic postwar rookie card that has always been a favorite with collectors and one that is rarely found in such high grade.
