Description

Graded VG 40 by SGC. Attractive mid-grade rookie card of New York Giants legendary Hall of Famer Willie Mays, one of the most important of all 1950s cards. In addition to being one of the two key cards of the 1951 Bowman set, Mays is part of the scarce high-number series (#253-324). The card has bright colors, a strong image, and light corner wear. The front displays two vertical print lines (one is more faint). Boldly printed reverse displaying a couple wax stains.
