Presented is a near-complete set of 1954 Topps consisting of 248 different cards, out of 250 in the set. Missing just #141 and 239 Skowron for completion. The 1954 Topps set has always been one of the most popular sets of the 1950s. Issued in the heart of the decade, the set features the rookie cards of Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, and Al Kaline, along with many other Hall of Famers and stars, including two examples of Ted Williams (first and last cards in the set), all in brilliant color. Condition is 89% Vg to Vg-Ex (including 3% Ex) and 11% lesser. Keys: #1 Williams (Fr), 3 Irvin (Gd+), 10 Robinson (Vg), 13 Martin (Vg+), 17 Rizzuto (Vg+), 20 Spahn (Vg+), 30 Mathews (Vg), 32 Snider (Pr), 36 Wilhelm (Vg), 37 Ford (Vg-Ex+), 45 Ashburn (Vg+), 50 Berra (small pencil marks on front, otherwise Gd+), 70 Doby (Vg-Ex+), 90 Mays (Vg), 94 Banks RC (2/98 T/B, otherwise Vg+), 102 Hodges (99/1 T/B, otherwise Vg-Ex+), 128 Aaron RC (SGC VG/EX 4, submitted by REA), 132 Lasorda RC (Vg+), 201 Kaline RC (Gd), and 250 Williams (Vg). Extremely attractive vintage sets in mid-grade condition such as this are especially desirable, representing an exceptional collecting value. This is a beautiful yet still relatively affordable near-complete set of this classic early Topps issue, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars from the 1950s. Total: 248 cards.
