Description

Original news photo capturing Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie with his dog (Boston Terrier), signed "Larry Lajoie" in blue ink across the top. Below his signature, Lajoie has written "6-25-53." A "Wide World Photos" credit stamp appears on the reverse, as does a couple pencil notations. The original paper news caption, dated 2/5/37, remains affixed to the reverse. The photo (9-1/8 x 7 inches) displays a small tear on the right border and scattered creases. In Good condition overall. A rare signature example of one of baseball's all-time great second baseman.
