Description

Graded VG 3 by PSA. Mid-grade example of this classic tobacco card featuring Hall of Famer Ty Cobb (red portrait pose) with an uncommon and desirable Sovereign 460 Cigarettes back. Though Sovereign 460 isn't normally considered an exceptionally rare advertising back, there are several subjects that are rarely found with a Sovereign 460 back, this being one of them. One of only seven graded examples by PSA with this front/back combination. This example has vibrant colors, a crisp image, moderate corner wear, and light staining along the white borders. The important Sovereign 460 advertising reverse is boldly printed.
