Description

Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by CSG. Very appealing E254 Colgan’s Chips card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. This is one of Cobb's most striking cards, from one of the era's most unusual and interesting sets. This card is also noteworthy as it features the same Carl Horner portrait that appears on his classic T206 card. Crisp and clean with minimal wear along the edges. The advertisement along the reverse is boldly printed. A light crease on Cobb's face and a tiny ink mark on the reverse largely accounts for the assigned grade. Cobb is one of the key stars of the set. This is a very attractive example.
