Black-and-white Hall of Fame plaque postcard (Albertype, Type 1) of pitcher Cy Young signed by him in black ink along the base. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and certified the signature as “Authentic.” Cy Young is one of the most desirable of all signed black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards. Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards were issued only between the years 1944 and 1963. Young was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1937, and he died in 1955. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has been addressed and mailed on the reverse and has a couple of creases. Technically in Fair condition.
