Lot # 2131: Babe Ruth Signed Photograph PSA/DNA MINT 9

Postcard-size photo, capturing the "Sultan of Swat" in a classic batting pose as a member of the Yankees, boldly signed by Babe Ruth in black fountain pen. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the signature graded MINT 9. Ruth has inscribed the photo "To Reggie Brown/From/Babe Ruth" in the upper-left corner. Both Ruth's inscription and signature contrast exceptionally well against the white background. It is interesting to note that Babe Ruth had these photos specially produced expressly for the purpose of fulfilling autograph requests (sometimes they are found with a postcard back; the offered example is blank backed). The photo (3.5 x 5.5 inches) is in apparent Vg-Ex condition. This is a classic Ruth-signed photo.
