Description

Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Modestly graded example of Babe Ruth from the 1928 Exhibits set. The key card to the 1928 Exhibit card set features Ruth in his classic follow-through swing. The blue-tinted card with a blank back was produced by the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago. The lower-left corner has the printed notation “Geo. H. 'Babe' Ruth – New York A.L.” The card is bright and crisp with even corner wear (weaker bottom left). The blank reverse has a red discoloration throughout. This is a very appealing example of this Exhibit card that would be a worthy addition to a Babe Ruth, Exhibit, or prewar-card collection.
