Description

Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC (submitted by REA). Solid mid-grade example of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams' 1954 Bowman card, one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card rarities. Williams had to be replaced with a different card (#66 Jimmy Piersall) very early in the 1954 Bowman print run due to contractual commitments to Topps. The offered card features beautiful colors, outstanding registration, and light corner wear. Clean reverse.
