Ticket stub issued for Game 4 of the 1969 World Series between the New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles held at Shea Stadium on October 15th, signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan. Ryan has signed the ticket "Nolan Ryan/'69 World Champs" in black marker on the front. Encapsulated by Beckett, who has graded the signature GEM MINT 10 and certified the ticket as "Authentic." The Mets defeated the Orioles 2-1 in Game 4 as Tom Seaver went the distance and J.C. Martin's bunt led to a throwing error in the 10th inning that brought home the decisive run. The Mets went on to defeat the heavily favored Orioles in five games to capture their first World Championship in franchise history. The ticket stub (5-1/8 x 2-1/4 inches) displays creasing and staple holes. Fair condition overall.
