Lot # 2856: 1910-1911 T6 Murad "College Series" Collection (10) Including Williams College Basketball

Collection of ten different (out of 25 in the set) T6 Murad Cigarettes "College Series" premiums, highlighted by the Williams College card (one of the earliest cards depicting basketball). The cards measure 5 x 8 inches and are very colorfully illustrated, most with an athletic image and the seal and pennant of the college depicted, and three with only the seal and pennant. The reverse features a checklist and redemption offer. The designs will look familiar to collectors as they are shared between these premiums and the smaller T51 Murad issue. The Murad "College Series" sets feature a variety of sports.
