Presented is a pair of complete 48-card sets of R173 Gum Inc. "The World in Arms" cards, which feature some of the finest artwork of any Gum, Inc., production. The set is organized into six separate series, each with a different theme relating to the arms of the world: "Airplanes," "Ships," "Iron Calvary," "Field Artillery," "Fortifications," and "Miscellaneous." Created in the same era as the gruesome "Horrors of War" issue, the R173 World in Arms series focuses on the weapons used by countries involved in the war efforts. Includes one duplicate (#M-2). The condition is 17% Vg-Ex or slightly better, 67% Gd to Vg, and 16% lesser). This is an attractive and mostly mid-grade offering of two complete sets of this popular nonsport issue.
