Rarely offered complete set of forty-eight cards composing the 1939 "The Second World War" set issued by W.S. Corporation. Condition is 20% Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, 50% Vg-Ex to Ex, and 30% Gd to Vg (including three trimmed inside the perforations rather than detached by hand). Keys: #140 "Submarine Sighted..." (PSA VG-EX 4) and 172 "Hitler Makes Peace Proposal.." (trimmed inside perforations, otherwise Nr/Mt). Total: 48 cards.
