Presented is a very attractive complete master set of 1974 Topps baseball cards consisting of the following: 660 basic cards, the 44-card Traded series, the 24-card Team Checklists set, the 15 "Washington, Nat'l" variations, and variations for cards #599, 608 and 654. Includes a duplicate of #599a Rookie Pitchers/San Diego, large letters. The condition of set is 37% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 52% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 11% Vg to Vg-Ex. We have selected five cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Keys: #1 Aaron (NM/MT 8), 10 Bench (Nr/Mt), 20 Ryan (NM 7), 130 Jackson (Ex), 250a McCovey/Washington (Nr/Mt+), 252 Parker RC (NM 7), 283 Schmidt (NM 7), 300 Rose (90/10 T/B, otherwise Ex+), and 456 Winfield RC (NM/MT+ 8.5). Condition of the Traded set ranges from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt (averaging Ex/Ex-Mt), with centering primarily responsible for the lower grades. Condition of the team checklists ranges from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt (averaging Ex), with a couple lesser. This is a superior, mostly high-grade 1974 Topps complete master set with numerous highlights.
