Thirty-nine cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by SGC. SGC Grading Composite: MINT 96 (19 cards): #8, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20 Rose, 21, 22, 23 Aparicio, 24, 25 Brock, 29, 32 Bench, 41, 44 Aaron, 49 Yastrzemski, 51, 54 Kaline, and 61 Torre. NM/MT+ 92 (6 cards): #5, 28, 31, 48 Gibson, 50, and 60 Killebrew. NM/MT 88 (14 cards): #1, 4, 7, 17, 19, 27, 33, 34, 35 Santo, 38 Jackson, 42 Jenkins, 46 McCovey, 56 Mays, and 59 B. Robinson. The condition of the 24-card unencapsulated balance ranges from Nr/Mt to Mint (averaging Nr/Mt-Mt), with one lesser. Unencapsulated Key: #37 Clemente (Nr/Mt-Mt). Because of their high-quality production and scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors. This is primarily because, for many years, grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards.
