Lot # 1851: 1979 Wiffle Ball Discs Full Boxes Collection (9) Plus Original Display Box

Since the 1880s, baseball players have lent their images and endorsements to a wide variety of products. Offered is a collection of nine (two different) player-endorsed Wiffle Ball boxes, dating from 1979, featuring Hall of Famers and stars Lou Brock, Mike Schmidt, Dave Conception, Thurman Munson, and Steve Garvey. This group includes all regulation size Wiffle balls still in the box. In addition, the nine Wiffle Ball boxes are presented here in their original store-display box, which has images of Johnny Bench, Carlton Fisk, Reggie Jackson, and Pete Rose pictured on the side panels. The display box (12 x 9 x 6 inches) remains in modest condition with a number of creases and tears visible throughout. The interior balls and boxes are in Excellent condition overall.
