The rookie card of Ozzie Smith highlights the 1979 Topps issue, one of the very popular sets of the 1970s. Eighteen cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA. Condition is 32% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 50% Ex to Ex-Mt (including some due solely to centering), and 18% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple Gd). Keys: #24 Molitor (NM-MT 8), 55 Stargell (NM-MT 8), 115 Ryan (Vg), 116 Smith RC (VG-EX 4), 200 Bench (NM-MT 8), 330 Brett (EX 5), 610 Schmidt (NM-MT 8), 640 Murray (NM-MT 8), 650 Rose (NM-MT 8), 665 Brock (NM-MT 8), 670 Hunter (NM-MT 8), and 680 Fisk (NM 7). Seven additional PSA-graded cards: MINT 9 (2 cards): #70 and 303. NM-MT 8 (5 cards): #68, 125, 298, 631, and 692. This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this classic 1970s Topps issue. Total: 726 cards.
