Brooklyn Dodgers ticket stub issued for a game against the Milwaukee Braves on July 31, 1956, played at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey. In an attempt to put pressure on the city of Brooklyn to build the Dodgers a new stadium, team owner Walter O'Malley had the Dodgers play 15 home games across the 1956 and 1957 seasons in New Jersey. Jackie Robinson carried the Dodgers to a 3-2 victory, blasting a two-run homer in the 2nd inning and later delivering a walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th. The ticket stub (1.25 x 2.5 inches) displays two patches of tape residue on the front and is in Good condition overall.
