Description

Extremely rare complete, original unopened wax box of 1970 Topps baseball containing packs from three different series (fifth, sixth, and seventh). This is the first such configuration that we can recall seeing. The box contains 24 wax packs, with each pack containing 10 cards for a total of 240 cards. The 1970 Topps fifth, sixth, and seventh series (#460-720) includes Hank Aaron, Pete Rose, Willie Mays, Nolan Ryan and the All-Star series which includes Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Johnny Bench, Juan Marichal, Yastrzemski, and many other Hall of Famers. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The box displays beautifully, with light-to-moderate shelf wear. This is an incredible and extremely rare unopened "Multiple Series" wax box from this very popular set.
