Description

Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. Mid-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle's second Topps card. One of card collecting's greatest classics, Mantle's second Topps card is the key to the 1953 Topps set and one of the most popular of all postwar baseball cards. The offered example has beautiful colors, a strong image, and honest corner wear. An unobtrusive crease in the top left (more visible on the reverse) and chipping along the red border contribute to the assigned grade. This is a solid mid-grade example of one of collecting's most famous cards.
