Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Mid-grade example of this classic New York Giants Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson card from the 1915 Cracker Jack series. This is one of Mathewson’s most striking and popular cards. 1915 Cracker Jacks will always be one of the most highly prized and widely collected of all prewar sets. Mathewson is one of the key cards in the set, along with Cobb, Jackson, Johnson, and Wagner. This example has out-of-focus registration, a bold red background, and light corner wear. The reverse is crisp and clean. This example would be a welcome addition to a collection of Cracker Jack, Christy Mathewson, or Hall of Fame cards, providing a relatively affordable alternative to a far more expensive high-grade example.
