Lot # 1878: Rare 1988 Topps Cloth Test Issue Complete Set on Uncut Sheet (121 Cards) Plus Promo Sheet

Extremely rare uncut sheet from the 1988 Topps Cloth Stickers Test issue. This 121-card sheet represents a complete set. The sheet is highlighted by several Hall of Famers and stars, including Tom Glavine (RC), Pete Rose, and Roger Clemens. Even among Topps test set collectors, few have ever encountered or are even familiar with this extremely rare set which uses the same images as the 1988 Topps set. Printed on thin cloth-like material, the blank-backed sheet (28 x 40 inches) displays natural creasing throughout but otherwise has an Excellent overall appearance. Also included is an identical paper-version of the offered sheet (only difference between the two sheets is that the cloth texture was not created on one).
