Description

Rarely seen complete set of Topps "Golden Spikes Award" winner cards, each graded and encapsulated by SGC. From 1990 to 1993, Topps produced a card honoring that year's Golden Spikes' winner, presented to the top amateur baseball player in the country. The winner's card was subsequently distributed to the attendees of that year's USA Baseball annual luncheon, for that day only. This complete set consists of the following: 1990 Alex Fernandez (MINT+ 9.5), 1991 Mike Kelly (MINT 9), 1992 Phil Nevin (MINT+ 9.5), and 1993 Darren Dreifort (GEM MINT 10). Total: 4 cards.
