Lot # 1839: 1977 Topps "Cloth Stickers" Uncut Sheet (132 cards) Featuring Two Complete Sets

This 1977 Topps test set features identical designs to cards found in the regular 1977 Topps series, printed on a silky cloth. Offered is an uncut sheet (28-1/4 x 42-3/4 inches) of 132 cloth stickers, representing two 55-card sets (plus 22 double-prints). The 1977 Topps Cloth Sticker set has only 55 cloth sticker cards, almost all stars, plus 18 puzzle cards. With so few cards, it is not surprising that the set includes so many major stars and Hall of Famers, including cards of Brett, Jackson, Rose, Ryan, Bench, Brock, Carew, Carlton, Yastrzemski, Eckersley, McCovey, Palmer, and Fisk. Some minor fraying along the edges and the top layer has separated from the backing entirely, otherwise Ex-Mt.
