Description

Original photo of longtime outfielder Jesus Alou, circa 1978. It is interesting to note that this particular image on the offered photo was used in the production of Alou's 1978 Topps Burger King card. Please note that the photo (3.5 x 4.75 inches) displays handprinted retouching to depict Alou as a member of the Houston Astros (the original shot, which featured Alou as a member of the New York Mets, is also included within this lot). Technically in Fair condition overall due to excess paper on the reverse. The photo of Alou as a member of the Mets (4 x 5 inches) is in Excellent condition overall. Both photos display Topps Vault COAs on the reverse.
