Extremely substantial and eclectic collection of 788 nonsport tobacco cards from the 1910-era, including representation from 18 different issues. This collection includes several classic and popular sets depicting various subjects such as birds, fish, and flags. The condition of the collection ranges from Poor to Vg (with a few better), averaging Good overall. This collection consists of the following: 1) T42-1 "Bird Series" White Border (112 cards): Includes one Emblem back. 2) T42-1 American Beauty "Bird Series" White Border (55 cards): American Beauty-issued cards were trimmed to fit packaging and are slightly smaller than cards from the other manufactures. 3) T42-2 "Bird Series" Gold Border (119 cards). 4) T43 Mecca "Bird Series" Fancy Frame (51 cards). 5) T56 "Emblem Series" (5 cards): All Emblem backs. 6) T58 "Fish Series" Complete Set (100) Plus 44 Duplicates: Includes thirty-nine Sovereign backs. 7) T58 "Fish Series" Near-Complete Set (77/100): Includes nine Sovereign backs.
