According to T206Resource.com, Carolina Brights ranks as the 11th toughest back within the T206 set. Any common player with a rare Carolina Brights back is notable, but an example of a key Hall of Famer such as Mathewson is especially noteworthy. This example exhibits vibrant colors, outstanding registration, honest corner wear, and excellent centering. The important advertising reverse is boldly printed and clean. Downgraded due to a small crease running through Mathewson's glove hand and a few wrinkles on the reverse. This is a tremendous Carolina Brights example that would be a significant addition to any T206, Hall of Fame, or rare-back collection.
