Description
One-page typed letter, dated August 7, 1952, signed by Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby. In full: Dear Georgie: Many thanks for your wire of August 6th and the good wishes expressed therein. Cordially, Rogers Hornsby {signed}. Hornsby's signature is scripted in blue ink. The letter (8.5 x 11 inches) displays an uneven trim along the bottom edge. There is a horizontal and two vertical mailing folds coupled with minor creasing. A few ink notations appear below Hornsby's signature. In Good condition overall.
