Description

Presented is a rarely offered example of New York Giants Hall of Fame manager John McGraw from the 1910 Orange Borders series. In 1910 the "Geo. Davis Co., Inc." and the "P.R. Warren Co." of Massachusetts together issued this striking and extremely rare package-design set, with two cards featured on each box of "American Sports - Candy and Jewelry" (one on the front, and one on the back). Graded POOR 10 by SGC, the card displays a crisp image, honest corner wear, a piece missing on the right edge, and evidence of album removal on the reverse. This is a very appealing card from this elusive set worthy of any John McGraw, prewar, or type-card collection.
