Very attractive complete set of 1972-1973 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards consisting of 340 different cards. Includes both variations of #334 Checklist and five Team Canada inserts (Bergman, Goldsworthy, Mikita, Parise, and White). Condition is 41% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt, 36% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 23% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple Gd and 12% that measure small). We have selected two cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Keys: #8 Dionne (Vg-Ex+), 14 Clarke (Nr/Mt), 58 Orr Action (5/95 L/R and measures a bit small, otherwise Nr/Mt), 59 Lafleur (Nr/Mt+), 111 P. Esposito (Nr/Mt-Mt), 129 Orr (NM/MT 8), 145 Dryden (NM/MT+ 8.5), 227 Orr/Park AS (measures a bit small, otherwise Ex+), 228 Hull AS (Vg-Ex+), 280 NHL Scoring Ldrs (measures small, otherwise Ex due to centering), and 336 Hull (measures small, otherwise Ex due solely to centering). Notwithstanding the presence of some cards that measure factory small (a common characteristic for this set), this is an extremely attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this popular 1970s O-Pee-Chee hockey issue loaded with stars and highlights.
