Description

Ticket stub for Game 7 of the 1925 World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Washington Senators at Forbes Field on October 15th. Pittsburgh defeated Washington 9-7 in Game 7 with Kiki Cuyler knocking in the go-ahead runs in the eighth inning against fellow Hall of Famer Walter Johnson. With this victory, the Pirates became the first team to rally from a 3-1 deficit in a seven-game series. The victory also marked the Pirates' second World Series title. The Game ticket stub (2 x 3-1/8 inches), which is for a "First Floor Box" seat, is in Poor condition overall.
