Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Ticket stub (4.25 x 2.25 inches) issued for Game 1 of the 1926 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, held at Yankee Stadium on October 2nd. Game 1 was highlighted by Lou Gehrig's first World Series game and hit. This was the famous Series in which Grover Alexander struck out Tony Lazzeri with two out and the bases loaded in Game 7 to help give the Cardinals their first World Championship in franchise history.
