Description

Original news photo of Hall of Fame first baseman Lou Gehrig in 1926. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photo by PSA/DNA. The portrait shot captures Gehrig in full uniform, gazing into the camera. An "ACME Newspicture" credit stamp appears along the reverse, along with the original paper news caption and a "N.E.A. Reference Dept." stamp dated "Oct 2 1926." The photo (4.5 x 6.75 inches) displays a diagonal crease running through Gehrig's face. Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
