Ticket stub issued for Game 1 of the 1928 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, held at Yankee Stadium on October 4th. The Yankees defeated the Cardinals 4-1 in Game 1, with Waite Hoyt limiting the Cardinals to three hits and Bob Meusel providing half the offense with a two-run homer in the fourth inning.
